Schott capillary viscometer Schott capillary viscometer
The capillary viscometer is suitable for measuring a kinematic viscosity in Newtonian liquids. It is often used for dilution sequences to determine intrinsic viscosity of a polymer related to its viscosity-average molecular mass. The instrument employs Ubbelohde glass capillary viscometers and offers high level of measurement automatization. Optical method of meniscus detection works for colorless and transparent liquids only.
